Abstract

This document, published by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, provides recommendations for the use of endoscopy after gastric bypass surgery. Following bariatric surgery, endoscopy can be used to evaluate symtoms such as reflux, nausea, dysphagia, diarrhea, bleeding, fistulas, ulcers, and choledocholithiasis, in order to make a diagnosis.
