Abstract

This report outlines how the development of a more comprehensive registry system in the UK would provide benefits for patients, clinicians and researchers over the short, medium and long term. This would include ensuring patients have the information they need to make informed choices about their treatment. It draws on the internationally-renowned Swedish Rheumatology Quality (SRQ) registry system and is based on the findings of a UK delegation which visited the Karolinska Institute in 2015, with a view to introducing their learning into UK practice.
