Abstract

This guidance addresses both the use of ultrasonographic-derived cervical length measurement in predicting preterm birth and the interventions associated with a short cervical length. The aim is to attain reduction in the rates of prematurity and/or better identification of those at risk, in addition to  possibly preventing unnecessary interventions.
