Abstract

Tools were developed, using large datasets, to predict the outcome of hip and knee arthroplasty, but it would not currently be cost-effective to implement them in the NHS.

Programme Grants for Applied Research (PGfAR) publishes evidence aimed at improving health outcomes in England with practical application for the benefit of patients and the NHS in the relatively near future. Find out more about the PGfAR journal.
