Abstract

The WISE self-management intervention did not add value to existing care for any of the long-term conditions studied and further research is needed into key active components and facilitating contextual factors.

Programme Grants for Applied Research (PGfAR) publishes evidence aimed at improving health outcomes in England with practical application for the benefit of patients and the NHS in the relatively near future. Find out more about the PGfAR journal.
