Abstract

The aim of this document is

  • to enable appropriate ethical knowledge and practice at all levels of study in psychology
  • to provide guidance that cultivates an ethical mindset in psychology students
  • to provide practical resources to aid in the teaching of ethics.

t is designed to provide a framework for good practice in the teaching and assessment of ethical competence in psychology education. It has been developed in the context of the Society’s Code of Ethics and Conduct and makes general points concerning psychology and education, such as how teaching environments can affect learning, as well as more specific points related to ethics.
