The report was commissioned by the Presidential Task Force to assist doctoral programme providers and trainees in producing research with impact.

Impact has been defined as "...an effect on, change or benefit to the economy, society, culture, public policy or services, health, the environment or quality of life, beyond academia."

Producing work with impact makes a difference, cements relationships and builds capacity. The attached document provides multiple suggestions and recommendations for providers and trainees looking to increase the quality and impact of their research.
