Abstract

Review of 17 trials, 15 of which reported outcome data (n=251,891) found that health checks have little or no effect on total mortality (risk ratio 1.00, 95% CI) 0.97-1.03), or cancer mortality (1.01; 0.92-1.12; 8 %), and probably have little or no effect on CV mortality
