Abstract

The health technology assessed is a helical-shaped intravascular-applied implant that acts as an anchoring system in addition to the standard endoprostheses used in endovascular aortic repair in thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms. The objective of this assessment was to evaluate whether the device in addition to the standard endoprostheses used in endovascular aortic repair in patients with aortic aneurysm (abdominal, thoracic) isĀ more effective and/or safer than procedures without the anchoring system.
