Abstract

The assessed technology is Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation (HGNS) for treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. The aim of this assessment was to evaluate effectiveness and safety of HGNS compared with no treatment in those adult patients with moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who present inadequate adherence to positive airway pressure systems or to other non-invasive procedures.
